Getting here:

Arran is served by Caledonian MacBrayne ferries. The main route sails to Brodick from Ardrossan or Troon and takes around one hour. Reservations are not mandatory but strongly recommended.

There is also a smaller ferry that sails to Lochranza from Claonaig, taking around 30 minutes. On that route it's first come first served, no reservations.
